A good Strategy can make a lost game back in your hands whether you are palying CS 1.6, CS:GO or any other game. People at first think that CS is all about aiming and team with best aimers will be the winners. Well saying that is also somewhat true, aim is a big part of this game but it's a team game right? so every member has his contribution and influences the end results.
To make it more clear lets discuss some best teams strategies of Team X, NAVI, NiP. If you've been watching these teams matches you will notice they all have a standard strat. One common strat on de_dust2 for T side after 2nd round will be a 3,2 split. It's not always good to just RUSH into the bombsite.
2 T's will on A double doors spraying and trying to get the site A info. and 3 on cat smoking MID double door so that CT's can't see their movements. One variation would be to have an awp on T spawn scoping between the double doors and might get a frag, but also if positioned earlier T can spot how many of CT's went to the B bombsite. While the 2 T's are peeking or diverting CT's attention on A long T's on cat can flank to A site by throwing flashes and grenades and at the same time T's on the A long will start pushing. CT's will be attacked from two sides and will not be able to hold the site.
Positions should be assigned to players according to what they are good at. Some can be good aimers at long distances and some at close combats, use their abilities or merits.
The whole idea is to keep checking the options you have if you see that their is a strong hold on A then check B site or just nade A site while moving the bomb towards B i.e faking to A. At this situations CT's will think that you are rushing towards A and CT on the A will call their mates for backup and you will get B site without much of resistance.
Make sure that faking not only involve just spams and nades but bodies also, i'm not saying that one should commit a suicide but try to get a frag while faking the rush and even if you die it will convince the opponent that you are rushing to that site. Inform your team-mates about the opponent's defensive positions and manipulate your currnet game positions according to that. A good start by wining the pistol round prove beneficial like you all are able to buy guns and gears but what if you've lost the initial rounds?? That's a decision that can influence your next rounds. As a team you all can buy some small weapons like a powerful deagle but buying that and facing AK's or M4's can't be much beneficial unless all players are good aimers with deagle. Moreover deagle isn't all that accurate, it's powerfull but still much is like luck that's what i've experienced with it. An alternative to this can be not buying anything or just few nades and trying to get frags which if you get will boost your money for next round and you will have a come back chance.
